Posted on August 18th, 2008 at 8:59 pm by chickadee and
i believe that there is a big difference between the two school’s mainly because:
UMNUL QURO
- Umnul Quro is a boarding school.
- Umnul Quro starts at 7 and finished at 1.
- Umnul Quro pray 5 times a day once at 5am,12noon,3pm,6pm and 7pm
- Umnul Quro seperate the girls and boys.
- Umnul Quro eat rice for breakfast, lunch and tea. however they do not sell rice at their school canteen.
- Umnul Quro have NO weekends they only day they have off is friday due to pray day.
HAWKESDALE
- Hawkesdale have unisex classes
- Hawkesdale is NOT a boarding school
- Hawkesdale have weekends on Saturday and Sunday
- Hawkesdale is not a religious school
- Hawkesdale has rice at our canteen
- Hawkesdale start at 9am and finish at 3:30pm

I think i learn best when working in a group and listening to music. I like working hands on i believe it is an easier way to concentrate i find it really hard to concentrate when the teachers are just standing there and talking about something it is really hard to concentrate i usually blank out and then stuggle when they tell us to get to work.

In the first week of the holidays i went to Nelson with my boyfriend and his step mum and little siblings. we stayed at his grandparents holiday home, we stayed there for 3 or 4 days and then left for home while we where there we did lots it was fun but the only bad thing about being there is we had no TV but i made up for it when i got home. On the second last day we went to Mount Gambier and while we where out visiting blue lake we got robbed. we all felt bad but then laughed it off.
In the second week i stayed over at a couple of mates and on Thursday i went to a leadership program in Portfairy along with a few other mates and i also got to meet new people io stayed there for a night and Thursday we sat and listened to people talking abbout leadership and other things we also had to play games where we had to work as a group sometimes my group got very messed up but it was fun. on the Friday we went to Halls Gap for fun and there we did rock climbing and abseiling and that day was all fun and we all enjoyed it and by the end of the 2 days we where very close and all got along really well.

I think blogging is good because
- you get to talk to people from different countries and cultures
- you can show people your work and get their feedback about it
- you get to work and have fun at the same time
- you get to learn new stuff like i did today i edited a photo of my mate and i on the Tasmania camp earlier this year and now it looks good it is at the top of this post

ASWERING YOUR QUESTION!
My favourite holiday would be the christmas also known as the summer holidays. i like this holiday the most because you dont only get to celebrate christmas but also new year. AT the start of December my family get the tree out from the cardboard and decerate it with funny and cute little angels and other little things that my family have made over the years. On christmas day we always get the family together and all have a big roast and sometimes my untie makes really nice cheese cakes and pavlova , we always get lots of presents and we sometimes play backyard cricket, frence cricket and football we always have a good time and party all night. For news year we always go camping and stay up all night and party. Last new years we went to a place called Glendening and it was fun it was the first year that my cousins came and we had my uncles best mates come and they have hot sons LOL. I also like these holidays because they are the summer holidays and i always stay with mate and go swimming and shopping everyday. i love summer holidays.
Tasmania Camp 2008 yr 9/10’s
Posted on June 2nd, 2008 at 7:35 pm by chickadee and
On the 26th of May the years 9’s and 10’s left for Tasmania we had a 4 hour trip to Melbourne and when we arrived we all went to MacDonald’s for tea and then boarded the Spirit of Tasmania. At 7 am the next morning we were in Davenport. We had 5 days of Jam packed fun we visited a lot of new and scenic places. On the 30 th of may we left Hobart and left for davenport to board the Spirit of Tasmania again this time it was really rough out at sea but it was fun to sit out on top deck and get blown away but it was really sickening to look over the side.
My High lights of the camp were:
- arriving in sheffield on the first day and seeing all the lovely murals that they had put around thier town to make it a brighter place.
- seeing the scenic looks of cradle mountain
- being on the ship for the first time
- visiting cudburys chocolate factory
- the chair lift ride above the cateract gorge
- the night activities
- bowling
- Movie ‘what happens in vegas
- mini golf
- Port Athur ( convict jail)
- Zoo Doo wildlife park
- Camels
- emus
- water buffaloo
- tassie devils
- ostrich
- possums
- deers
- kangaroo’s
- wallibies
- mini horses
- and lots more farm animals
This is my favourite mural at sheffield
my favourite pic from cradle mountain
this is some terrifying pics from the Zoo Doo wildlife park
